Ultima Forever Beta – Several Weeks Away, More Details Soon
Let’s just get this out of the way. Those Ultima Forever cloth maps they were giving away at Comic Con a few weeks ago? If you really want an Ultima Forever Quest for the Avatar cloth map and you can’t wait to see if they release them for sale to players and fans, there is one up on eBay.
Jeff Skalski, the Ultima Franchise Producer, posted some messages about the Ultima Forever beta phase over the past two days that gives a better idea of things. The Ultima Forever beta will most likely happen before the summer is out, although whether an open beta will happen before September is debatable.
He mentioned that he wrapped up two interviews and that more detaails would be released over the following weeks.

He also mentioned that they are still several weeks away from the beta, and that he wants to make sure the U4E team nails all of the feedback they received from the alpha testers.

He also added they’ll be letting in more players slowly, as they test features and the hardware.
