Ultima Forever Will Feature Retina Graphics On iPad

In a post on Sulia, BioWare Mythic’s creative director, Paul Barnett, let slip a little detail about the iPad version of Ultima Forever:

Our latest build for Ultima Forever will be given a test drive by our Exec’s. The new retina display art looks stunning!

Not that this is terribly surprising; the high-pixel density Retina Display is now the standard for all of Apple’s mobile products (the iPad, of course, as well as the iPhone and iPod Touch), and has begun to appear in their MacBook line of laptop computers as well. It really only makes sense that BioWare Mythic would ensure that Ultima Forever looks crisp and beautiful on the iPad’s 2048×1536 display.

Even so, it’s nice to have some sort of semi-official confirmation that this is the case.
