Ultima Forever: Honesty Card Revealed

Last Thursday, on the Ultima Forever Facebook page, the following set of questions were posed:

A group of explorers sent you ahead to do vital reconnaissance in an unknown and hostile area. You can fend for yourself, but you have to rely on them to get back home, and your chances to communicate with home are limited to a few pigeons you carry with you. During your exploration you learn that these people have no plan to extract you once you finished your task.

What do you do?

– You continue to gather and send back reports of all information you can find to help future explorers who will come after you.

– You continue to send reports but shorten them and use the rest of the space on the messages to confront them with your disappointment and ask for better support.

– You use some of the irreplaceable pigeons in the effort to inform a higher authority about your situation and hope for an intervention.

The overwhelming majority of respondents chose the second option, to reduce the flow of information and use some of the limited space on each message parchment to plead one’s case to one’s superiors, which proved to be the answer corresponding to the virtue of Honesty. As such, the gypsy revealed the Honesty card on the Ultima Forever Facebook page.
